Qualifications

• MD with active Louisiana license.
• Fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology or Hepatobiliary Surgery.
• Robotics training required.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including exams, assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
• Examine patients using clinical tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Obtain comprehensive patient histories and document them.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging.
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on prevention and healthy living.
• Coordinate care and refer to specialists as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
