Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program.
• Maintain RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Physical requirements: lift 50 pounds, prolonged standing/walking.
• Certifications: ACLS and BLS; other unit certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
