Job summary

Corewell Health's Troy Hospital is seeking a part-time Nursing Assistant for the Post-Surgical Care Unit. You will support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse and assist with daily unit tasks to maintain patient flow.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a nursing assistant program or CNA experience, and BLS/CPR certification. Weekend variability is possible with daytime shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of nursing assistant program and/or CNA experience.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Current CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care assignments as delegated by a registered nurse.
• Clerical tasks and manages supplies/equipment in designated care areas.
• Documents in electronic medical record and participates in safety initiatives.
