Job summary

Providence Women's Services in Everett, Washington is seeking a surgical physician assistant to join its OB-GYN surgery team. The ideal candidate will work with multiple physicians in inpatient and outpatient settings, with a weekday schedule and no on-call requirements.

Responsibilities include gynecological surgery, minimally invasive and robotic procedures, performing histories and exams, daily rounds, education, documentation, and coordinating referrals as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Patient management will include gynecological surgery, minimally invasive/laparoscopic and robotic surgery
• Perform patient histories and physical exams in the office and hospital setting: new patients, follow ups, pre/post ops, consults
• Handle daily patient rounds, inpatient/outpatient education, daily documentation, and discharge summaries
• Order and interpret appropriate medications and diagnostic tests such as routine laboratory, x-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, etc.
• Monitor and manage patients' course of treatment and make/coordinate appropriate referrals as needed
• Monday to Friday schedule
• No call
• Compensation is between $135,890 and $180,253 per year
