The Nurse Manager will oversee a 24-hour unit, plan, direct, and manage nursing care for a designated patient population, and collaborate across hospital functions to ensure interdisciplinary patient care.

The role requires California RN license, BLS, 2 years of clinical experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and 5 years of clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and manage the nursing care delivered to the designated surgical patient population.
• Oversee 24-hour unit operations, including leadership, fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing, and controlling.
• Develop and implement programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care for the unit.
• Ensure that patient needs are assessed and met.
• Establish collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions to support an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
