Job summary

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Surgical Associates team. This full-time role supports outpatient surgical care and operating room procedures, with weekend call on a 1:4 rotation and potential regional coverage for Pen Bay and Waldo as needed.

The successful candidate will be a PA or NP, collaborating with General Surgeons, Anesthesia, Orthopedics, and ENT to provide consultations and assist in procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited certified Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner’s program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program.
• Maine NP or PA license and DEA.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the outpatient surgical office and in the operating room.
• Be available for weekend call on a 1:4 rotation and regional coverage as needed.
