Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care within the general surgery team.
• Manage authorization processes for imaging, procedures and surgeries.
• Perform peer-to-peer reviews with insurance to appeal denials.
• Coordinate between patients, providers and external facilities.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients regarding conditions, procedures and recovery expectations.
• Assist providers with wound care and other office procedures.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
