Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time role to support patient assessments, coordinate care, and provide education alongside RNs and the care team.

You will monitor patient progress, ensure safety, communicate changes, and participate in unit activities. Mercy offers benefits including medical, dental, vision coverage, PTO, tuition support, and retirement plans for 32+ hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, patient assessments and care planning.
• Communicate patient conditions and changes to the RN and care team.
• Support patient and family education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to promote patient outcomes.
• Delegate and guide support staff as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit activities.
