Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a part-time role to collaborate with Registered Nurses and a multidisciplinary care team. You will support patient assessments, care planning, and education, while ensuring a safe and positive patient experience.

As part of Mercy, you’ll work within the LPN scope, participate in unit-based activities, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits for team members working 32+ hours per pay period.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of Arkansas (or eligibility to obtain).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, patient assessments, and care planning.
• Communicate patient conditions and changes to the RN and care team.
• Support patient and family education.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Delegate and guide support staff as appropriate.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit-based activities.
