Job summary

Agiliti in Homewood, Alabama seeks a part-time Surgical Laser Technician I to support operating room procedures and equipment readiness.

You will calibrate, sterilize, and maintain instruments, assist during surgeries as needed, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure timely availability of tools.

This role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license and the ability to lift heavy loads, with benefits and opportunities described by Agiliti.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience preferred.
• Must hold a current, valid, unrestricted driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to eighty pounds and push or pull up to one hundred pounds.
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods and perform repetitive bending/reaching.

Responsibilities

• Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room prior to procedures.
• Present in operating room during procedures as required by physician.
• Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize all surgical equipment after procedures.
• Communicate defects or maintenance needs to stakeholders to ensure equipment uptime.
• Transport equipment to appropriate locations for procedures.
