Job summary

Wyandot Memorial Hospital in Upper Sandusky seeks a dedicated Central Processing Technician to support the Surgery Department. You will clean, disinfect, sterilize, and organize instruments and endoscopes to prepare for procedures, ensuring patient safety and efficient operations.

This full-time role requires BLS certification and central service experience, along with strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification required.
• Certified Registered Central Service Technician or related sterilization experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, remain calm under pressure, and provide excellent customer service.
• Must exemplify reliability, attention to detail, and a commitment to teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform all central supply and sterilization procedures in accordance with established standards.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and endoscopes.
• Manage supply inventory, including restocking and maintaining accurate organization.
• Pick and assemble surgical and endoscopy case supplies.
• Support coordination of care by collaborating with surgical, endoscopy, and ancillary departments.
• Adapt to departmental needs, including willingness to work different days or hours as required.
