Responsibilities

• Code Cart System Management: maintain inventory and readiness of code carts.
• Decontamination: clean and decontaminate instruments and equipment per protocol; use PPE.
• Assembly: assemble instrument trays per procedures; verify completeness before sterilization.
• Sterilization: operate sterilization equipment; document tests and maintain storage of sterile packages.
• Transport: move sterile items between departments following infection control procedures.
• Communication and Collaboration: coordinate with surgical teams and nurses for instrument availability; report malfunctions.
• Inventory Management: monitor supplies and restock as needed; keep work areas clean.
