Job summary

Required are knowledge of aseptic technique, sterile fields, instrument cleaning, ability to lift up to 25lbs and push/pull heavy carts, and strong communication to work with

Qualifications

• Aseptic technique and sterile fields required.
• Maintenance and cleaning of instrumentation.
• Use of decontamination equipment and instrument/tray sterilizers.
• Bacteriology knowledge beneficial.
• Oral and written skills to relay information accurately.
• Interpersonal skills to establish cooperative working relationships.
• Ability to stay calm during emergent or stressful situations.
• Team-oriented work approach.
• Ability to supervise, orient and train staff using proper English.
• Ability to lift surgical trays up to 25 lbs and handle carts up to 200 lbs; stand for long periods.
