Job summary

Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift in the General Surgery Unit. This fast-paced inpatient unit serves Urology, Colon and Rectal patients with a 1:5 nurse–patient ratio.

Qualifications

• RN licensed and in good standing.
• 1 year acute inpatient experience.
• BLS certification or obtain within 30 days.
• Graduate of an Accredited Program.
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in fast-paced Surgical Inpatient units.
• Mentor and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Support ERAS program and ostomy care as needed.
• Maintain patient safety and accurate documentation.
