Job summary

Medical City McKinney, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Surgical ICU RN for day shift with rotating weekends. The RN will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include TX RN license, Bachelor's degree, ACLS/BCLS within 30 days, and 1+ year ICU experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• TX (RN) Registered Nurse license is required.
• Bachelor's degree required for consideration.
• 1+ year of acute ICU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU.
• Collaborates with physicians and care team to implement care plans.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Contributes to quality improvement efforts within the unit.
