Job summary

UC Davis Health in Sacramento, CA seeks an experienced Critical Care Nurse to provide autonomous, patient-centered care in the SICU. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for diverse critical populations, while leading and teaching teammates in a high-acuity environment.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, professional development, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes. On-site, 90% time, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid California Registered Nurse License without restriction.
• American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross BLS, or UC Davis Health CPR.
• AHA ACLS.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two years of recent RN ICU experience or UC Davis Critical Care Nurse Fellowship experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Knowledge of nursing trends and patient care documentation.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency with medical terminology.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care with developmental and physiological considerations.
