Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in state of practice (LA).
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in nursing and clinical specialty certification.
• Proficient with computers, software, and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process to achieve outcomes.
• Assess learning needs and tailor education for patients and families.
• Delegate and manage nursing team resources in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Use data to evaluate care and promote evidence-based improvements.
