Job summary

Qualifications

• Texas RN licensure required.

• Minimum of two years’ experience as a staff nurse on a surgical floor with spine and joints.
• Knowledge of adult, pediatric, adolescent and geriatric patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing patient assessment focusing on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Develops goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Implements nursing care ensuring timely and accurate execution of orders.
• Establishes priorities for patient care using available resources.
• Responds effectively to emergencies following established protocols.
• Maintains accurate on-floor documentation and coordinates with the healthcare team.
