Qualifications

• Licensure as a registered nurse in Texas.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification or completion within 3 months of hire date.
• Minimum of two years’ work experience as a staff nurse on a surgical floor with spine and joints.

Responsibilities

• Performs ongoing patient assessments across physiologic, psychological, and cognitive domains.
• Develops and updates goal-directed care plans based on nursing diagnoses and outcomes.
• Delivers nursing care to achieve patient outcomes using established processes.
• Prioritizes care considering patient needs and resource availability.
• Acts calmly in emergencies, follows protocols, documents events.
