• Skills: Advanced laparoscopy, total joint, and/or robotics surgical cases.

Responsibilities

• Assists the physician with all aspects of care during the operative procedure.
• Collaborates with physicians to provide for the specialized needs of patients.
• Monitor and support department productivity through flexing shifts to meet needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource to support and develop peers and assist the surgeon technically.
• Recommend supply utilization changes to support cost containment.
• Participate in equipment/product evaluations and identify cost-saving solutions.
• Maintain professional relationships with medical staff and ensure patient safety standards.
