Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Surgical Assistant Program upon hire and receive Surgical Assistant Certification within 6 months.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Recent Hospital experience (0-2 years) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact effectively with patients and health care team members.
• Assist the surgeon during the intraoperative phase of care.
• Support OR team with the setup and teardown of the Operating Room.
• Support in the role of CST when no SA assistance is needed.
