Job summary

The Certified Surgical Assistant at Henrico, Parham & Retreat Doctors' Hospitals will be a professional member of the Operating Room team in Richmond, VA. You will utilize aseptic technique to create and maintain a sterile field, plan and provide equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs, and demonstrate competency in assisting the surgeon as it relates to unit scope of care.

You will also serve as a resource person for other staff members.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• CSA or CSFA certification (CSA/CSFA).

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field using aseptic technique and provide equipment and supplies as needed.
• Assist surgeon and act as resource person for OR staff.
• Contribute to patient- and physician-centered care within unit scope.

Hourly Wage Estimate: $36.90 - $55.35 / hour

Job Summary
