What You'll Do

• Lead as First Assist Serve as the primary surgical first assist, providing critical hands‑on support throughout procedures.
• Set the Stage Pre‑Op Confirm cases, meet patients, walk them through procedures, gather documentation, and coordinate closely with OR staff.
• Deliver in the OR Support patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, anticipate the surgeon's next move, and work in sync with the surgical team.
• Follow Through Post‑Op Assist with patient transfer, deliver thorough PACU handoffs, and complete documentation with precision.
• Help Us Get Better Contribute to clinical and operational initiatives — education, training, and process improvement.

What You Bring

Experience

• At least 2 years of surgical assisting experience
• Hands‑on experience assisting in Spine cases
• Robotics experience is a plus

Education & Credentials

Candidates must hold at least one of the following credentials

• PA‑C - Physician Assistant‑Certified
• NP with RNFA - Nurse Practitioner with Registered Nurse First Assistant credentials
• RNFA - Registered Nurse First Assistant
• CSFA/CSA - Certified Surgical First Assistant / Certified Surgical Assistant
