Job summary

Coastal Jaw Surgery - Trinity is hiring a Surgical Dental Assistant to deliver hands-on patient care in a warm, patient-centered environment. You will prepare operatories, assist during procedures, monitor sedation, and coordinate lab work while supporting a collaborative team.

The ideal candidate has an accredited dental assisting education, 2 years of surgical experience, prosthodontics exposure, and CPR/BLS/First Aid certification, with proficiency in standard surgical equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
• Two years of surgical assisting experience required.
• Prosthodontics experience, including bone grafting and implants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operatories for set-up, decontamination and sterilization.
• Provide positive patient service by escorting and prepping for care.
• Monitor oxygen and IV sedation as needed and take blood pressure.
• Take X-rays, impressions, pours and prep study models; coordinate labs.
• Record treatment information and orient patients to post-op directions.
