Job summary

SALT Dental Partners invites applications for a Surgical Dental Assistant to join a dynamic dental team in Denver. The practice emphasizes patient comfort, professional growth, and state-of-the-art facilities.

This full-time role offers mentorship and a diverse patient population to enhance clinical experience. Applicants should have at least 6 months of dental assisting experience, CPR/BCLS certification, and ideally a CODA-accredited program.

Qualifications

• Six (6) or more months of practical experience as a dental assistant.
• CPR or BCLS certification.
• CODA-accredited dental assisting program (Preferred).
• Quick learner with problem-solving skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Technical and troubleshooting skills for software for charting, patient records, scheduling, etc.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for professional growth.
• Organized with a superior knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile.
• Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable before, during, and after their appointment about their treatment and oral health.
• Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos.
• Prepare and sterilize treatment room and equipment.
• Provide chair-side assistance to Providers during treatment procedures.
• Document dental care services by charting in patients’ records.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment.
