Overview

We're seeking a skilled Coding Specialist to join our remote team and help ensure accurate, timely, and compliant coding for surgical procedures. You'll be a key player in supporting our 600+ providers across 220+ sites, helping patients receive the care they need.

What You'll Do

• Abstract clinical and demographic data from medical records
• Assign ICD-10 and CPT-4 codes with 95% accuracy
• Identify principal and secondary diagnoses
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure complete documentation
• Stay current with coding guidelines and procedures

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a medical record technology course
• 3+ years of medical coding experience
• CPC or equivalent certification
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT-4 coding systems

Pay and Benefits

• The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
• Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
