Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program.
• Minimum of 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN.
• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or LPN is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pre-visit planning and rooming patients; document vital signs and patient backgrounds.
• Coordinate schedules, enter orders, prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families within licensure scope.
• Assist with in-office procedures and administer medications/immunizations.
• Maintain exam rooms and equipment per infection control standards.
