Job summary

The Plastics Clinic & Spa seeks a Clinic Nurse to support patients through pre-operative and post-operative care across all surgeons. You will monitor vitals, chart accurately, verify implants, and educate patients to ensure comfort and safety throughout their surgical journey.

Responsibilities include preparing surgical packets, managing meds, wound care, drain and suture removal, and ensuring privacy and compassionate communication with patients in recovery.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license in Utah.
• Minimum of 2 years in a surgical office setting.
• Proficient with EMR systems and patient education.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-operative appointments including vital signs, charting, garment measurements, implant size verification, lab checks, consent reviews, and preoperative photos.
• Prepare and transmit surgical packets to the surgical center and ensure prescribed medications reach the pharmacy.
• Administer post-operative care including vitals, wound care, dressing changes, drain/suture removal, and patient education.
• Maintain patient privacy, actively listen, and provide reassurance and information regarding recovery.
• Oversee lab work, PCP clearances, and ensure all tests are completed before pre-operative appointments.
