Job summary

Oaklawn Medical Group seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to support clinicians and front-desk tasks. Under supervision, you will greet patients, record vitals, and prepare patients for examinations, while assisting providers and maintaining smooth clinic flow.

You will handle patient registration, referrals, and prior authorizations, while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care and ensuring accurate documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant license in Michigan.
• BLS certification required or within three months of hire.
• Experience in a medical office or similar setting.
• Certification from an accredited CNA program is required.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and patient registration processes.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and record vital signs, height/weight, and patient history.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers as directed.
• Register patients, schedule referrals, and manage prior authorizations.
• Maintain clean rooms and ensure proper equipment and supplies.
• Provide patient-centered care and respond to inquiries promptly.
