Job summary

North Carolina Specialty Hospital is seeking an EVS Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe environment across operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, and administrative areas. Under supervision of the EVS Supervisor, you will perform routine cleaning and adhere to hospital policies.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and commitment to infection control. Experience in ambulatory or surgical settings is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of Environmental Services/housekeeping in ambulatory/surgical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean operating rooms, patient rooms, bathrooms, and offices as assigned.
• Stock housekeeping supplies daily according to PAR levels.
• Perform floor cleaning, buffering, scrubbing, and waxing.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment adhering to safety and infection control.
• Post safety signs and report spills or hazards.
• Follow PPE procedures and protect patient areas.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
