Job summary

Pinnacle Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine Specialists Llc in Woodstock, GA seeks an Administrator for the Clinical Operations Manager role overseeing nursing and clinical functions in the surgery center. You will lead the Operating/Procedure Room, Pre-Op and PACU while ensuring policy adherence and patient safety.

Responsibilities include directing staff, budgeting for resources, maintaining professional standards, and staying current with nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership, administrative and clinical competencies demonstrated.
• Minimum two years in the operating room; management experience desirable.
• ACLS certification required or ability to achieve within 60 days of employment.
• Current licensure in Georgia as a Registered Nurse (RN)

Responsibilities

• Directs, supervises, plans, staffs, coordinates and controls the functions of assigned areas.
• Plans and directs the activities of the Operating/Procedure Room, Pre-Op, PACU and other clinical areas.
• Adapts nursing philosophy to the Operating/Procedure Room, Pre-Op, PACU and other clinical areas.
• Implements standards ensuring safe and therapeutically effective nursing care.
• Keeps the Administrator informed of activities and seeks guidance as needed.
• Analyzes and evaluates personnel performance and makes recommendations.
• Participates in budget preparation for adequate personnel, supplies and equipment.
• Maintains good relationships with physicians, employees, patients and customers.
• Active in professional organizations and current developments related to surgery center nursing care.
• Plans, organizes, directs and controls quality and quantity of nursing care.
• Maintains knowledge of patients' condition to ensure maximum care.
• Participates in nursing policies and procedures development and implementation.
