Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years related experience in clinical or sterile processing required.
• Experience with computerized inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates regularly with operating room staff to ensure that proper supplies for each case are picked and delivered as needed.
• Completes surgical case cart and surgical equipment staging activities.
• Conducts case cart and instrument return and restocking activities.
• Conducts equipment cleaning and return activities.
• Maintains knowledge of surgical procedures, supplies ordering and product placement.
• Serves as a liaison between clinicians and supply chain to coordinate instruments, supplies and equipment between OR and Sterile Processing.
• Tracks and monitors availability of equipment and instruments for procedures in collaboration with the OR team.
