Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate supply levels in the sterile storage area.
• Rotate stock and pull case carts for the daily surgical schedule.
• Stock and deliver supplies required for patient care procedures.
• Mentor/preceptor for new technicians and students.
• Participate in the department’s performance improvement activities.
• May perform decontamination, tray assembly and sterilization tasks when necessary.
