Responsibilities

• Assist with unit supplies: stocking, cleaning instruments, ordering supplies, and chart preparation.
• Collect data on assigned patients and document accurately under RN supervision.
• Demonstrate competency in skills: vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, and monitoring intake/output.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and transportation preparation.
• Use AIDET with patients and families when admitting and rooming.
• Take vitals, secure belongings, apply leg garments as needed; order/stock supplies.
