Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Clinical Care Technician (CCT) in the Same Day Surgery department for a Day shift at the Somerville location. The role supports Registered Nurses with hands-on patient care, vital signs, EKGs, and basic procedures in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Nursing assistant experience or CNA certification preferred.
• Clinical experience from an accredited nursing program is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs and monitor patient health status.
• Assist with activities of daily living and bedside nursing care.
• Document patient information accurately in EHR with confidentiality.
• Support RNs in implementing care plans and safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control and safe patient environment.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team to coordinate care.
