Trinity Health Chelsea Hospital in Chelsea, MI, is seeking a Surgical Care Tech for the Operating Room. The position supports a busy surgical service line with a day shift and a part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting OR equipment and maintaining sterile conditions. The role requires at least a high school diploma and about one year of related experience, with on-call duties every couple of months.

Department: Operating Room - In our Operating Room at Chelsea, more than 5,000 inpatient and outpatient surgeries are performed annually in the fields of gynecology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, general surgery, otorhinolaryngology, podiatry, plastic surgery, and spine surgery.

Position Purpose:

The Surgical Care Tech cleans and disinfects operating room equipment as assigned. Performs housekeeping duties (Cleaning stretchers, equipment, terminally cleaning of the Surgical Department, etc.)

Shift Available : Day Shift - varying start times between 6am and 8am

Status Available : Part time, benefit eligible (40 hours per pay period – every two weeks)

On call required one weekend every couple months
