Job summary
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Surgical Associates practice in Louisville, Kentucky. You will provide nursing care, assess needs, coordinate care, educate patients, and support a healing environment focused on outcomes.
Work closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care and exceptional patient outcomes in a full‑time role at our St. Matthews area Surgical Associates.
Qualifications
- Current RN license (or valid work permit in Kentucky)
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification may be required based on departmental guidelines
- High school diploma
- Graduation from an approved practical nursing program
- State-licensed practical nurse required
- Clinic experience preferred
- Computer skills preferred
- Basic Life Support and other advanced training as appropriate
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care using evidence-based practices while supporting patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being
- Assess patient needs, coordinate care, provide education
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
- Help create a healing environment centered on patient outcomes
