Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Surgical Support Attendant to provide essential patient care and maintain unit standards. This entry-level position requires a High School Diploma/GED and BLS certification, with opportunities for professional growth and a diverse work environment. Candidates should be adaptable and able to communicate effectively with a range of individuals.
The Surgical Support Attendant works under the direction of the RN/Licensed Practical Nurse. Responsibilities include providing direct patient care, transporting patients, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the unit. The Attendant demonstrates the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds, to set and manage multiple priorities, and to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
