Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of health care experience in comparable setting.
• Knowledge of sterility standards, AAMI and AORN
• Knowledge of aseptic technique
• Current BLS-HCP

Responsibilities

• Supports the department of Surgical Services in the consistent practice of surgical team assistance.
• Assists with instruments and supplies for surgery schedule and case prep.
• Maintains current/accurate unit information and documentation of care given.
• Performs quarterly monitors for event-related sterilization and stock room checks.
• Able to independently take call on a rotation basis.
