Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Function as first assist on cases across multiple service lines with sterile technique.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and participate in Universal Protocol for correct-site surgery.
• Communicate effectively with circulating staff to ensure instrument readiness and sterility.
• Assist with patient positioning, skin prepping, catheterization, and draping.
• Assist with instrument handling, suturing, wound closure, and drain placement under supervision.
• Support team in selecting supplies, room setup, and turnover procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
