Dental Assistant plays a vital role in supporting dentists by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during dental procedures. They maintain accurate patient records and educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensuring a smooth, efficient, and patient-focused dental practice.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrumentx-rays, preparing materials, andassistingwith dental procedures
  • Assistingthe dentist with procedures when necessary
  • Providing great patient care
  • Recording treatment information in patient records.
  • Giving patients information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs
  • Upholding equipment standards/protecting andmaintainingall dental tools in the practice
  • Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
  • Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
  • Maintaining all HIPAA and OSHArequiredtrainings and compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of dental assisting experience is preferred
  • Be self-motivated, organized, and have a positive attitude
  • Possess great understanding of dental terminology
  • Have excellent communication and written skills
  • Have excellent public relations skills
  • Work well with patients and team
  • Demonstrates experience in delivering exceptional, high level customer service
  • Committed to punctuality with a consistent record of arriving on time and willing to stay late when necessary to support team needs
