Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking a Certified Surgical Assistant to support the surgical team. The role includes intraoperative duties such as equipment setup, retraction, and suturing, as well as preoperative and postoperative patient care.

Requirements include graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited program, a valid Surgical Assistant license, and BLS certification. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 is offered for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

• Perform preoperative and postoperative duties to facilitate patient care.
