Paradigm Oral Health in Maryville, TN is seeking a Surgical Assistant to support oral surgeon procedures, assist with instrumentation, and document patient care from preoperative to recovery.

You will help maintain sterile environments, monitor patient status, acquire radiographs, and collaborate with general dentists to ensure exceptional patient experiences. The role demands safety, teamwork, and precision with opportunities for growth into clinical or management paths.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS Certification (or completed within 1 month of hire).
• Strong teamwork and independent work capabilities, demonstrating good judgment and critical thinking.
• Passion for ensuring safety and exceptional attention to detail, vigilance, and meticulousness.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Excellent manual dexterity and superior listening skills, especially in emergency scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with precision during procedures and meticulously document patient care.
• Perform preoperative tasks and maintain sterile environments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor patient status and assist with anesthesia monitoring as needed.
• Handle advanced equipment and radiographic imaging to obtain vital radiographs.
• Craft detailed patient narratives and ensure accurate charting and reporting.
