Job summary
Southview Animal Hospital in West St. Paul, MN is seeking a skilled LVT Surgery & Anesthesia Technician to join our growing surgical team. You will prepare patients, induce and monitor anesthesia, and assist with soft tissue, orthopedic, and emergency procedures alongside experienced surgeons and our imaging and urgent care teams.

Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years veterinary technician experience or equivalent.
- Strong anesthesia monitoring and patient care skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to exceptional patient care and client service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgery including catheter placement, diagnostics and surgical prep.
- Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia for a variety of procedures.
- Continuously monitor anesthetized patients using advanced monitoring equipment.
- Assist veterinarians during soft tissue, orthopedic, emergency, and specialty procedures.
- Maintain accurate anesthesia and treatment records.
- Ensure proper sterilization, maintenance and preparation of instruments.
