Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a Surgical Aide to perform essential duties under supervision of licensed staff. Candidate will engage in routine tasks, support patient care, and contribute to unit efficiency.

The role is scheduled for Full Time, Monday through Friday, 10:30am-7:00pm, with Call. The position emphasizes independence in routine tasks and teamwork within the health care team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit and assist with patient care.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed.

• Completes routine duties in a timely manner.
• Anticipates needs of health care members and actively reduces turnover time.
• Promotes Hospital efficiency to include returning equipment and supplies to appropriate locations.
• Demonstrates a willingness to assist other personnel to transport and maintain order on the unit.
