Job summary
St. Luke’s University Health Network is seeking an Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide medical evaluation, treatment, and counseling within surgical services at the Allentown campus.
The role includes performing histories and exams, ordering tests, and coordinating with a multidisciplinary team. The position supports virtual care when needed, participates in education of students and residents, and maintains CME and licensure requirements as part of
Qualifications
- Must be board eligible or board-Certified RN practitioner or PA with current license in PA/NJ.
- Experience in surgical settings and patient assessment is preferred.
- Ability to provide medical evaluation, treatment and counseling to patients.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients and families delivering medical services.
- Obtain histories, perform examinations, and document in EMR.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop care plans.
- Coordinate care with other health care professionals and institutions.
- Provide virtual care as needed and participate in teaching activities.
