INTEGRIS Health in Oklahoma City is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (RNFA) to join our Level 2 Trauma Center team. The APP engages in inpatient, operative, and ambulatory care, collaborating with surgeons to improve patient outcomes through comprehensive management.

The role includes rounds, OR assistance, postoperative and trauma follow-up, discharge planning, and liaison work among patients, families, and providers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited NP or PA program (Acute Care RNFA certs).
• Current Oklahoma NP or PA license.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsabilités

• Initiates and completes a detailed patient assessment.
• Orders labs, radiology and other routine diagnostic procedures.
• Diagnoses the actual or potential health problem and plans therapy.
• Orders or initiates medications, treatments and consultations.
• Performs routine procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care and blood draws.
• Educates the patient regarding prescribed treatment and medications.
• Reports to the supervising physician and Operations Manager Practice Management.
• May have additional physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements; consult Risk Management for details.
• Potential exposure to infections and hazards; follow standard precautions.
