Job summary

Planned Parenthood Arizona Inc. in Tempe is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct nursing care to clients during surgical abortion and recovery. You will collaborate with the Health Center Team to ensure compassionate, confidential, and accurate patient services.

You will assist physicians, dispense medications, maintain records, and uphold safety and compliance standards throughout the clinic. Commitment to dignity and patient privacy is essential.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where assigned.
• 1 year clinical healthcare experience preferred, open to new grads.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently or as part of a team.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients during surgical abortion and recovery.
• Assist physician and patient during abortion procedures.
• Dispense medications to clients as directed.
• Keep patient records and logs accurate and up-to-date.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, CLIA, and DEA standards.
• Maintain inventory and recovery room organization.
