Portneuf Surgical Specialists in Pocatello, ID - 52 miles from Idaho Falls is seeking a BE/BC Surgical Critical Care Traumatologist to join an established surgical group consisting of 10 surgeons (multi-specialty) and 6 Advanced Practice Practitioners at Portneuf Medical Center, a 205-bed facility.

About Your Work:

1. Ten 24-hour shifts per month
2. Medical Directorship opportunity
3. 10-15 patient encounters during on-call shifts
4. Use of Da Vinci Surgical System
5. Inpatient only
6. Level II Trauma Center with dedicated trauma service for patient admits
7. Call is not in-house; response time within 15 minutes
8. Hospital support includes Interventional Radiology, Critical Care, and fully staffed ICU/Hospitalist services
9. Electronic Medical Records: Epic
10. Teaching opportunities with Medical Students and Family Medicine Residents
