Job description

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a contingent Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgeon to join a busy, well-established multi-specialty group located in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The successful candidate will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. Responsibilities include Trauma, Surgical Critical Care and Emergency General Surgery.

In addition to clinical excellence, clinical research and teaching of General Surgery Residents and Surgical Critical Care Fellows is expected. Administrative duties to support the ongoing trauma verification is also required. Opportunities for General Surgery practice exist, if desired.

Accredited residencies include General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery and Emergency Medicine. Surgical Critical Care and Vascular Surgery fellowships are supported.

The Trauma Surgery program is committed to rigorous and ongoing multidisciplinary performance improvement and educational activities to improve trauma care across the entire continuum of patient care, from primary prevention through rehabilitation.
